POST O'ALLS W-Knee Dungaree - Indigo 10 oz. Denim

The #1302 W-Knee Dungarees were POST O'ALLS' second trouser design and the brand's first take on the classic double knee work pant. Introduced in the mid 1990s, the design looks to American painter pants of the 1930s, when reinforced knees and practical detailing were developed specifically for demanding industrial work.

This version is constructed from 10oz indigo denim with the dry, crisp texture of vintage deadstock fabric. The lighter weight works particularly well with the double knee construction, providing structure through the front of the leg without making the trousers excessively heavy or rigid.

Supplied completely unwashed, the denim begins with a deep, uniform indigo that leaves the ageing process entirely to the wearer. The additional layer of denim across the knees will influence how the fabric creases and fades, while seams, pockets and other high wear areas gradually develop their own contrast. A green printed label based on those used by POST O'ALLS in 1993 completes the reissue.
