US Navy herringbone twill (HBT) was specified for shipboard fatigues in the early 1940s, chosen for being tough, breathable and easy to dye. The Lot.720 is Wearmasters' reproduction of that fabric, cut into trousers rather than a fatigue shirt.

The cloth is VAT-dyed for fade resistance and sits in a regular fit with a tapered leg, period-correct enough to pair with genuine vintage HBT but modern enough to rotate alongside most things. Construction follows the workwear brief: chain-stitched seams, dull black metal button fly, herringbone pocket lining. The Khaki colourway is the closest to the original 1940s specification. Made in Japan.

Worn with the Lot.872 slip-ons, the Solovair Gibsons, or any of the heavier footwear we stock. A trouser that improves with regular wear.
