The Type 2 is cut closer through the chest and body than a standard trucker jacket, with a slightly shorter length. It sits true to size against the other Japanese denim we stock, though the 12.5oz cloth is on the stiffer side and will feel snug at first. Expect it to ease and shape to your body with wear rather than stretch out on its own. If you plan to layer a shirt or light jumper underneath, size up. Measure a jacket you already wear well and compare it against the numbers below.

How we measure
Every figure is taken with the garment laid flat and smoothed out, read in centimetres.
- Chest
- Measured flat, one inch below the armhole, from edge to edge. We then double that number.
- Shoulder
- Measured from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back.
- Hem
- Measured across the bottom hem, edge to edge. We then double that number.
- Body Length
- Measured from the highest point of the shoulder seam straight down to the hem.
- Sleeve Length
- Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
