Japan Blue Organic Drill Coverall Jacket - Natural

The coverall jacket draws from the tradition of Japanese workwear — a full-fronted garment built for practical use, with the proportions and details that defined workshop and factory clothing through much of the twentieth century. Japan Blue works from Kojima, Okayama, a region with deep roots in Japanese textile production, and applies that heritage to each piece they make.

This version is cut in natural cotton and made entirely in Japan. The natural, undyed tone sits close to the raw material itself — a warm off-white that shifts gradually with washing and sun exposure. It has a different character to the dyed colourways: quieter in register, more visibly marked by use. The construction follows the same working-garment logic throughout: pocket placement, closure hardware, and seam work are all built to function rather than to style.
