BOW WOW P47 HBT Jacket

Military surplus is one of the deepest crates BOW WOW digs through and the P-47 is a well-chosen sample. It was the U.S. Army's herringbone twill fatigue jacket issued through the Pacific campaigns of WWII, built for heat and hard wear rather than looks. Herringbone twill packs cotton yarns in a tight diagonal weave that's dense enough to resist tearing but still breathes, which is why the pattern got reissued by workwear brands long after the original uniform contracts ended.

BOW WOW keeps the original proportions here: a straight, slightly boxy body, patch chest pockets and a plain button front with none of the extra hardware that crept into later military jackets.
