POST O'ALLS No. 6 Shirt - Classic Chambray

The #1206 No.6 Shirt first appeared in the mid 1990s and marked an important point in POST O'ALLS' early collections. After producing a series of pullover designs, the No.6 became the brand's first full button front shirt. Its design looks to American work shirts of the 1930s, with distinctive mountain shaped chest pockets giving an otherwise straightforward work shirt its identity.

This version is cut from classic indigo chambray with the slightly irregular appearance of vintage workwear fabrics. Lighter and more breathable than denim, chambray has long been associated with American industrial clothing and provides an ideal fabric for the No.6. Selvedge detailing continues the period influence, while a prewashed finish gives the cotton a comfortable feel from the first wear.

Reproduction fish eye shell buttons recreate a detail from the original shirt, joined by a printed label based on those used by POST O'ALLS in 1993. With continued wear and washing, the indigo chambray will soften further and gradually lose colour, particularly around the pockets, seams and other areas of regular movement.
