RATS Waffle Thermal - Black

Thermal shirts have their roots in practical cold weather clothing, where waffle knit cotton was used to trap warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable against the skin. The distinctive cellular structure creates small pockets of air within the fabric, providing insulation without relying on excessive bulk.

RATS gives the familiar thermal a particularly substantial feel with an 11.5oz cotton waffle. The neckline is reinforced with a double stitched binder construction, adding durability to an area that receives plenty of wear. A small woven rat motif label at the left hem provides the only visible branding.

The body is cut slightly closer than RATS' regular tops, allowing it to work naturally as a base layer beneath shirts and jackets while still having enough substance to be worn on its own. A one wash finish removes the initial stiffness from the cotton and gives the waffle knit a more settled texture from the outset.
